The Earth was created by a Creator...that creator being God...this is my belief, but there are many other  different theories within the general theory of creation. These are some and what I think about each of them.
For example Gap Theory, the theory that there is a million year gap between Genisis 1 and 2 and that in that time protiens evolved. I do not agree with this theory because I do not believe that the earth is millions of years old...and I believe that there was no evolution included in the creation of the Earth.
Another theory of  creation is Young Earth Creation, the belief that Genisis is literal...and what the bible says is what happened...no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Out of all of the different theories this is the one I find most logical...but I do believe that in the time between when it happend and when Genisis was written the story may have been simplified, and one day I would love to hear the story from the Creator himself...that would be cool.
The third theory of creation is Ideal Time, this theory says that the Earth is very young still and that all of the 'millions of billions of years' talk can be proved by saying that God put a history in the Earth when he made it.  The chicken came first...Adam and Eve had belly buttons...ect. I think that God made the Earth brand spankin new for us and it was perfect...no signs of aging(history) came with it, . I believe that the Earth...along with all other living things began to age when sin entered the world.  A built in history seems kind of pointless and contridictory to me.
The next theory is Age Day...this states that when Genisis says day they do not llitteraly mean the 24 hours, but instead each day is an era. To me this makes no sense and I just do not get where they are coming from...so...not much to say.
Pictoral Theory is similar to Age day in the way that they both do not consider the word day to be '24 hours' but instead a poetic way of dividing time periods. I believe that God made the Earth and that he did so in however much time he wanted to...so I do not care if it was 24 hours to the very second because God could have made the world in a fraction of a second so why do we worry about how long it took Him. Why do we feel the need to give him a time constraint? He is all knowing, all awsomeness, and he created everything we know and do not know so I say that we stop fighting over how long it took when the book he wrote to us says "day" to us that means a day...so I think it is alot more simple than we have made it out to be.
Theistic Evolution is the last theory I will mention, this theory suggests that God created the world by using evolution. I do not believe this at all because in order for us to evolve things would have had to have died before us. In the bible it says that humans were the first to sin...thus death entering the world...so how can things before humans die if humans  were the ones who activated death.
So those are my opinions on creation and I do not know how else to end my blog so I am just going to stop typing...
